About the author

Trained as an architect and later recognized as one of the AE profession’s leading marketing thinkers, I’ve spent more than 30 years helping architecture and engineering firms strengthen their marketing, business development, and client relationships. My background as a practicing architect allowed me to bridge the worlds of design and business strategy, speaking at conferences worldwide and authoring over 20 books — including the industry favorite [re]wired: Selling Your AE Services in a Post‑Recession World.

Although I call myself retired these days, I couldn’t resist exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping AE marketing.
